Vow license terms

These license terms explain what you get when you pay for Vow, whether you are a couple buying Vow+ or a planner paying for a client wedding. They work alongside the Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy.

What you are buying

When you buy Vow+ or pay for a client wedding, you are buying a license to use certain features of Vow. You are not buying the software, a copy of it, or any ownership of Vow.

What the license covers

• Vow+: the paid features of Vow on the couple's wedding.
• A wedding paid for by a planner: the paid features of Vow on that one wedding, for the couple, and for the practice with the access it has been given.

A license covers one wedding. It cannot be moved to another wedding, resold or transferred.

How long it lasts

A license continues for as long as Vow operates. It does not renew, it is not a subscription, and there is nothing to cancel.

When a license can end

We may suspend or end a license if you break the Terms of Use or these license terms, for example by misusing Vow or using it to send unwanted email. If a practice loses access to a wedding, the practice's access ends, and the couple keeps the paid features on that wedding.

If Vow shuts down

We will email you at least 30 days before Vow stops operating. When Vow stops operating, all licenses end.

Your content stays yours

The license is for Vow's features. The guest lists, budgets, notes, contracts and everything else you add to Vow stay yours, and this license gives us no ownership of them. The Privacy Policy explains how deletion works.

Refunds

All sales are final. See Refunds in the Terms of Use.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. When we do, we will post the new version here with the date it takes effect.
